I had a wonderful stay at Champa Lodge in Kampot. the location was perfect, with amazing river views and a traditional Khmer house that was very clean. the owner was incredibly nice and arranged moto rental for me quickly. the property grounds were well kept, and I enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere after the dogs stopped howling late into the night.
It was a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Cons: Nothing to fault.

The rooms at Champa Lodge were incredibly spacious and had a relaxed, homey feel to them. I loved the traditional decor, including the four-poster bed with a mosquito net and the outdoor bathroom with a hot/cold shower. It really made me feel like I was immersing myself in the local culture and environment. The sunrise views from the terrace were absolutely breathtaking too!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the mirrored walls in some of the rooms. It gave off a slightly dated vibe and made the space feel a bit smaller.

The semi-secluded piece of Heaven in Kampot offers a jaw-dropping river view, allowing you to deeply connect with the timeless culture. The former stilt houses provide a real Cambodian vibe with modern amenities. The delicious meals and wide range of Belgian beers served by the delightful hosts make for an excellent stay. The family-friendly lodge offers kayaks, mountain bikes, and easy access to Kampot township and Kep. The peaceful atmosphere and connection to Khmer lifestyle make this place highly recommended.

The rooms at Champa Lodge are spacious and beautifully decorated, with plastered walls and traditional tiled floors. The four-poster bed with a mosquito net adds a touch of romance. I loved the outdoor bathrooms, equipped with hot/cold showers and free toiletries. It was a unique and refreshing experience. The private balconies and terraces offered breathtaking views of either the sunset over the Kampot Bay River and Elephant mountains or the sunrise over the rice paddies. The master house, located in the heart of the property, gave a cozy and charming vibe, making me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the presence of internet access – wireless a bit distracting. But I understand that some guests might appreciate it.

The rooms at Champa Lodge are spacious and comfortable, with traditional tiled floors and plastered walls that give a cozy and home-like feel. I loved the four-poster bed with mosquito net, perfect for a restful sleep without any worry of insects. The outdoor bathrooms are a unique touch, providing a refreshing shower experience with hot/cold water and complimentary toiletries. The private balconies and terraces offer breathtaking views of either the sunset over Kampot Bay River or the serene sunrise over the rice paddies. Each room is carefully decorated to make guests feel right at home, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Personally, I found the outdoor bathroom a bit inconvenient, especially during rainy weather. However, I understand that some guests might enjoy the natural setting and open-air experience.

I had an incredible stay at a lodge with an ideal location. The owner, Stephan, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements and provide valuable advice. I stayed in the boat lodge, which had an amazing view of the river. The lodge itself was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The food at the lodge was excellent and reasonably priced. It was also convenient to hire a motorbike to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend this lodge for a fantastic stay.
